JAMMU, Dec 28: Government Degree College (GDC) RS Pura, under the aegis of IQAC and the Department of Punjabi, commemorated the supreme sacrifice of the four brave sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Chaar Sahibzaade, on the occasion of Bal Veer Diwas. The event highlighted their courage, resilience, and unwavering faith in the face of oppression, inspiring attendees to honor their legacy.
Dr. Narinder Singh Raina, MLA Jammu South, graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the universal relevance of the Sahibzaades' sacrifice, calling for educational initiatives to preserve their legacy.
A series of activities marked the day, including a quiz competition, poetry recitation, movie screening, and a guest lecture:

Dr. Arvinder Singh Aman, Retd Special Secretary of JK Academy of Arts, Culture, and Languages, delivered a seminar urging individuals to draw inspiration from the Sahibzaades' sacrifices. He called their story a universal symbol of courage and justice.
Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, Principal of GDC RS Pura, encouraged students to uphold the values represented by the Chaar Sahibzaade. Faculty members actively contributed to the event, with Prof. Harpreet Kour anchoring the program and Prof. Rajinder Singh delivering the vote of thanks.
