MANDI GOBINDGARH, Jan 1: The Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages at Desh Bhagat University, recently organized an enlightening Expert Lecture on the topic "Revising Curriculum: Preparation for the NET". The lecture was delivered by the esteemed Professor Emeritus, Dr. Satish Kumar Verma, and marked another step forward in the institution's commitment to academic excellence.
The event commenced with a floral welcome for Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice President DBU and other dignitaries, followed by lamp lighting and a formal welcome by Prof. (Dr.) Sharanpal Singh, Director.
Dr. Verma emphasized the importance of curriculum design, regular assessments, and the integration of Bloom's Taxonomy for enhancing cognitive skills and NET preparation. He highlighted the role of stakeholder feedback in refining educational frameworks to meet evolving needs.

The insights derived from these consultations guide the university in updating teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies.
