RAJOURI, Jan 1: The Cyber Investigation Unit of Rajouri Police successfully recovered Rs. 1.02 lakh defrauded in an online scam, reaffirming its commitment to combating cybercrime in the region.
The recovery was achieved through rigorous efforts and meticulous investigation by the Cyber Cell. SSP Rajouri, Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar (IPS), commended the team's dedication and emphasized the importance of public awareness in preventing cyber fraud. In his appeal, SSP Sikarwar urged citizens to stay vigilant and report cybercrimes promptly through the National Helpline 1930 or the official portal www.cybercrime.gov.in.
