Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 1: Jammu Police, under the leadership of SSP Jammu, Sh. Joginder Singh (JKPS), has intensified its crackdown on bovine smugglers as part of Operation Kamdhenu. Two notorious bovine smugglers were apprehended from Nagrota and Jhajjar Kotli areas and booked under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA). The arrested individuals are: Sadeeq Ahmed, son of Abdul Kareem, a resident of Ban Kala Kuppar, Tehsil Nagrota, District Jammu. Anwar Mohd., son of Mohd Sharief, a resident of Dammi, Jhajjar Kotli, Tehsil Dansal, District Jammu. Both individuals have a history of repeated involvement in bovine smuggling, which has caused significant public unrest. Multiple FIRs have been registered against them for their criminal activities. The warrants for both accused were executed under the supervision of local police officials, with PSI Rohit Manhas (I/C PP Sidhra) executing Sadeeq Ahmed's warrant, and Insp. Nishan Gupta (SHO P/S Jhajjar Kotli) executing Anwar Mohd.'s warrant. SSP Jammu, Sh. Joginder Singh, praised the relentless efforts of the officers involved in executing these warrants.
