MANDI GOBINDGARH, Jan 2: Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital and Desh Bhagat Hospital organized a Free Medical and Dental Checkup Camp during at Gurudwara Jyoti Swaroop Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib. The camp was held in remembrance of the unparalleled sacrifices of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji, Baba Fateh Singh Ji, and Mata Gujri Ji during the Shahidi Jod Mel.
The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services, including free medical checkups, investigations and medicines, to the community. A team of expert doctors from Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Desh Bhagat Hospital, and Desh Bhagat Dental College & Hospital, along with students examined numerous patients at no cost.
The camp was organized in collaboration with the Medical Practitioners Association of Fatehgarh Sahib District and Sarbat Da Bhala Trust.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, highlighted the significance of organizing such camps as a tribute to the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas. He stated, "Desh Bhagat University, as a socially responsible institution, is committed to providing healthcare access to those in need.
Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, emphasized the university's unwavering commitment to affordable and standardized healthcare.
