JAMMU, Jan 2: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Jammu Kashmir hold an Program at Press Club Jammu on the eve of 50 years Journey of BMS Jammu & Kashmir and Contribution of Vetran Trade Union leader Shradiya Lakshman Ravinder Singh who started BMS work in Jammu Kashmir way back in 1975. Smt Neelam Sharma General Secrtary BMS welcomed all the dignitaries. Ex Minister and Hon'ble MLA was the chief Guest and Sh. Rahul Sahey Chairman of Indian Chamber of Commerce ICC Jammu Presided the Function and launched Cover Page of Shram Smarika while addressing the gathering Sh. Sham lal Sharma sid that any one who served the cause of society in selfless manner must be given recognition and this also inspired others moreover the need of the hour is that Trade Unions have to change their style from Confrontation to Dialogue and spread their work in all nook and coroner for the betterment of unorganised sector in the Present Scenario. Sh Rahul Sahay, paid tribute to the visionary Sh Lkshman Ravinder Singh and while speaking on the occasion emphasized the critical role of labour in the economic development of the nation and called for a collaborative approach between labour and industries to drive sustainable growth and also commended BMS for evolving into a multidimensional organisation addressing labour, social, and environmental issues, Sh.Pawan Kumar Zonal Secretary BMS said that BMS is celebrating 70 years of its Journey started in 1955 and now more than 6000 Regd. Union over India are working under its fold with more than 2.5 corers membership furthers at Present BMS is not only known as Trade Union only but working for other social issues such as environmental / climate changes, social harmony, Sawdeshi and also representing India in International Labour organisation, BMS is recognised world over after G-20 meet for working on Portability of social security Fund and it will benefit those who work abroad and when they will come back in their country they will get the Funds deducted in Foreign Countries.
Parshotam Dadichi, Ajay Gandorta Sr. Advocate, Pushpinder Charak Harbans Choudhary Mukesh Kumar, Ashok Choudhary, N.K Gupta, Karnail Chand, and Subash Chander Ex presidents of state BMS, Rakesh Thakur, Naseeb Singh, Jewan thakur Ravi Hans Ramesh Malhotra anil Kumar and others were also present in the programme.
