JAMMU, Jan 2: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Thursday asserted that the central government led by PM Narendra Modi is resolute in making Bharat terror-free.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart highlighted the relentless efforts made by the Modi Government in ensuring security, peace, and prosperity for every citizen. He said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has seen significant strides in curbing terrorism, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, and that the government remains determined in its pursuit of peace and stability.
"The Modi Government has shown exceptional dedication to eradicating the scourge of terrorism, not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across the nation. We are witnessing a transformative shift in our security apparatus, one that is determined to eliminate terrorism in all its forms," he said while commending the tireless efforts of the security forces and intelligence agencies that have been working round the clock to thwart terrorist activities and ensure that the people of J&K can live in peace. "The sacrifices made by our brave soldiers and security personnel are unparalleled. Their resilience and determination acted as the cornerstone of the Modi Government's strategy in making Bharat terror-free," he added.
The senior BJP functionary also highlighted the Modi Government's comprehensive approach to counter-terrorism, which includes diplomatic efforts, intelligence sharing, technological advancements, and robust military operations. "The Prime Minister has always maintained that terrorism has no place in India.
