| Muskan Rana declared best gymnast of Country | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 2: On day 1 of Senior National Rhythmic Gymnastic Championships being held at Surat Gujarat, J&K Gymnast Muskan Rana proved her supremacy securing 1 Rank in her favour at National arena.
Trainee at Sports Council's Gymnastic Academy, Jammu Muskan was declared best Gymnast beating her main rival Sanyukta Kale from Maharashtra who managed 2nd Rank & another Gymnast Manya from J&K secured 3rd Rank.
In the team championships of Seniors Category J&K team comprising Muskan Rana, Manya, Shivangi & Jagriti Thakur won Silver Medal whereas Maharashtra who secured Gold in team championships.
However Muskan & Manya have also qualified for the Individual apparatus finals in all four apparatus (Hoop, Ball, Clubs & Ribbon) and are expected to earn more medals for J&K in this Championship on apparatus finals day.
Er.Kiran Wattal, Vice President Gymnastic Federation of India has showered the praise for Gymnastic Coaches who have trained these Gymnasts to achieve laurels for J&K. He also praised the J&K administration under the able patronage of Hon'ble LG Manoj Sinha for providing world class facilities towards sports infrastructure in the J K U T besides this having record numbers of sporting activities of National Championships
in J K U T also fully supporting the advance national training camp held at Srinagar involving foreign coach resulting in wining gold medals in day one of competition he further added the praise for Sarmad Hafiz IAS Commissioner YS&S & Ms.Nuzhat Gul Secratary, Sports Council for her untiring efforts for the promotion Sports in J&K. |
