Day 2 Highlights: NSS National Integration Camp 2025 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 4: The second day of the NSS National Integration Camp (NIC) 2025 at Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhinagar celebrated unity, creativity, and empowerment, bringing together contingents from 17 states across India. The day began with a rejuvenating yoga session led by Dr. Vijendra Sharma and supported by experts from Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu. The session emphasized fitness, mindfulness, and balanced living. A thrilling Tug of War competition followed, with 22 teams battling it out on the Government College for Women Parade Ground. Team JK06 clinched the title, with JK04 as runners-up. Principals Dr. S.P. Sarswat and Dr. Ravender Kumar Tickoo presented medals to the winners. Artistic flair was on display during the painting and sketching competition on "Economic Empowerment among Women." Winners were honored by Mr. Ankush Kesar and Ms. Mahua Gupta, celebrating exceptional talent. The afternoon sessions focused on empowerment and digital innovation. Dr. Bindu Sangra delivered an impactful lecture on women's legal rights, while Dr. Gurpreet Kour introduced the "My Bharat Portal 1," aimed at cultural preservation and youth engagement. Day 2 of the camp showcased the spirit of teamwork, cultural unity, and the drive for societal change. |
