JAMMU, Jan 4: On the directions of Directorate of HG, CD and SDRF J&K, 05 days Civil Defence basic training programme is started at Govt. Degree College for women Parade, Jammu under the supervision Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the training camp 250 Students of College are attending the said training. This training is on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster. On the inaugural programme of the training, lectures were delivered by the Civil Defence experts and highlighted the role of Civil Defence and importance of this training. R.K Tikoo, Principal of College appreciated the programme.
Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Dr. Alpana Bhan Coordinator of the programme, Professor Mamta Sharma, and other staff of the College also present on the occasion. |
