Indian Army organised youth development program | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Jan 6: The Indian Army has inaugurated a Youth Development Program in the village of Thanamang, Rajouri, which will offer classes on personality development, English speaking, and general knowledge to empower girl students and help them inculcate requisite soft skills. This initiative is part of the Indian Army's Operation Sadbhavana, in collaboration with Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Institute's Art Of Living. The training focuses on enhancing public speaking skills and further motivating the students to take up competitive exams. It aims to lay the foundation for nationalism and patriotism, encouraging them to enter the mainstream education system across the country and fulfil their dreams of becoming successful individuals in their desired careers. The inauguration was attended by local sarpanches and teachers from the Darhal Block. The guest of honor was Capt. Abdul Kabir (Retd), President of the ESM group, Darhal Block. The vote of thanks was delivered by Sarpanch Zakir Malik, who appreciated the Indian Army's initiative in empowering the girls of Darhal and motivated them to excel in their desired fields. Officials from the local civil administration were also invited. The event highlighted the Indian Army's commitment to supporting sustainable development and fostering self-reliance. "This program will enable individuals to achieve financial independence and contribute positively to their families and the community." The training program, which will run for a month, will equip participants with practical skills in tailoring and stitching, opening up new opportunities for income generation and employment. The Indian Army continues to prioritize community welfare and social upliftment through such initiatives. |
