Late Rana’s daughter appointed J&K BJP youth wing vice-prez | Likely to contest by-polls on party ticket from Nagrota | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Jan 6: Bharatiya Janta Party has appointed Devyani Rana, daughter of late Devender Singh Rana, as its youth wing vice-president for Jammu and Kashmir unit. According to a communique the nomination has been made by BJYM J&K president Arun Prabhat in consultation with party’s J&K president Sat Sharma and general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul. Devyani Rana is the daughter of former legislator from Nagrota late Devender Rana. Rana, a four-time legislator. Rana passed away on October 31 last year. Sources said that she is likely to be BJP’s candidate for Nagrota assembly seat which was represented by her father. |
