SAMBA, Jan 6: Samba Police have successfully solved a theft case reported at Police Station Bari Brahmana. The accused, identified as Deepak Kumar alias Bodha, son of Darshan Lal, a resident of Reshan Ghar Colony, Rajiv Basti, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, was apprehended, and the stolen property was recovered.
The complaint, lodged by Sukhdev Singh of Sarore, Bari Brahmana, on December 16, 2024, reported theft at Dev Asthan Shri Data Ranpat Dev Ji, Data Talab, Bari Brahmana. Acting swiftly, the police registered FIR No. 166/2024 under relevant sections and initiated an investigation.
Utilizing CCTV footage and technical aids, the police team, led by SHO Bari Brahmana, identified and arrested the accused. During interrogation, Deepak Kumar confessed to the crime, leading to the recovery of the stolen items.
