| MCM celebrates Gurpurab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 8: The Department of Music at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, under the aegis of IQAC, celebrated Gurpurab of the tenth Guru of Sikhs- Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji with spiritual fervour. Shabad gayan by the faculty and students of the Department of Music lent a divine touch to the celebration. Speaking on this occasion, Officiating Principal Suman shed light on the important teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and motivated the students to learn from them. She eulogised the valour and selfless sacrifices of Guru Ji for the sake of the nation, asserting that his life is an inspiration for one and all. Shabad gayan was followed by paath of Anand Sahib and ardaas. The celebration culminated with distribution of kadha prasad. |
