Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 8: Students and staff from classes 9 to 11 of MV International School had the privilege of interacting with Sydney Rose FRSA, a renowned international educationist, during a virtual session on "Mental Stress in Schools and Organising Workload." Sydney Rose, a British-Swedish academician with over 35 years of global experience, shared valuable insights into managing stress. He emphasized that stress originates from individual responses to situations rather than external factors. He suggested practical techniques like time management, pre-planning, exercise, meditation, and balancing social media use to help students and teachers combat stress and anxiety effectively. The session was highly interactive, with students and teachers raising queries and receiving thoughtful responses from the resource person. Chairman Hira Lal Abrol, Director Gourav Abrol, and the school's Principal expressed gratitude to Sydney Rose for addressing a vital topic that impacts learning and performance. This session is part of MV International School's initiative to foster global educational ties and enhance student well-being. |
