Samyal, a retired Superintending Engineer and advisor to Vichar Kranti Manch International, has been unanimously appointed as the new President of the Senior Citizens' Rejuvenation Centre (SCRC). His nomination, proposed by Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu Constituency, was announced during a gathering attended by dignitaries including Yudhveer Sethi, MLA Jammu East, Rekha Mahajan (Jammu District President), and Pappu Chowdhry (former Corporator). The event coincided with the birthday celebration of Shubh Chander Verma (Ex-Corporator, JMC Ward 53), where Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain (State Yoga Commissioner) presented a poetic life sketch in Verma Ji's honor. K.S. Samyal expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead SCRC and pledged to continue the NGO's 12-year legacy of addressing senior citizens' health, infrastructure, and welfare needs. Under its previous leadership, SCRC organized free medical camps, langars, and operated a matrimonial bureau. MLA Vikram Randhawa lauded the centre's efforts, emphasizing its humanitarian contributions.
