Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Jan 10: The 15 Bn ITBP, Udhampur, flagged off the Bharat Darshan "Watan Ko Jano" programme for 25 students from Government Higher Secondary School, Chumathang, Leh. The ceremony, part of the Civic Action Programme, was inaugurated by Sh. Surinder Khatri, DIG North West Frontier ITBP, who motivated the students to work hard and serve the nation. Sh. Balwinder Singh, Second-in-Command, welcomed the participants, highlighting this as the 8th Bharat Darshan tour organized by the battalion. The group, comprising 11 girls, 14 boys, and two teachers, will visit iconic landmarks across Leh, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kanyakumari. The itinerary includes visits to Napier Museum, Kovalam Beach, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and Cyber City Gurgaon. They will also meet various dignitaries during their journey, which concludes on January 15, 2025, in Leh with a Flag-In Ceremony.
