UDHAMPUR, Jan 11: In a continued effort to combat drug trafficking, Udhampur Police, led by PP Tikri, has successfully executed an attachment operation resulting in the freezing of a Creta car (Regd. No. JK02DH-2486), valued at approximately 20 lakhs, belonging to notorious drug peddler Mohd. Hafiz, a resident of Jhullas, Poonch.
Mohd. Hafiz, currently in judicial custody under FIR No. 212/2024 at Police Station Rehambal, is facing charges under various sections of the NDPS Act and has been involved in multiple drug-related cases.
During the investigation, Udhampur Police identified the car as a property acquired through illicit drug trafficking. This operation is part of Udhampur Police's ongoing efforts to dismantle the drug network in the region and is a significant step in curbing the drug menace.
