Jammu, Jan 13: Police have detained four suspects in connection with a murder of a teenage boy at Bishnah here. According to the details available with Early Times Ajay Kumar, 17, was brutally attacked and killed with a sharp weapon by unidentified assailants on Sunday night. Kumar, a resident of Bhateyari village in Bishnah, worked as a conductor with a matador. According to locals, the attack allegedly stemmed from a dispute involving his employer. “On the fateful night, Kumar and his employer were attacked during an argument. While the employe Sub Divisional Police Officer Dr Nikhil Gogna while talking to Early Times said, “We have arrested four suspects and investigations are on.” managed to escape, Kumar sustained severe injuries and succumbed on the spot,” locals said. Kumar’s family and locals blocked the Bishnah-Badi Brahmana main road on Monday, demanding justice for the victim. The police assured the family and the locals that the accused will be dealt with as per the law. Following a post-mortem at Bishnah Sub-District Hospital, Kumar’s body was handed over to his family for the last rites. Meanwhile, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Dr Nikhil Gogna while talking to Early Times said, “We have arrested four suspects and investigations are on.” |
