Jammu, Jan 17: The Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Jammu, under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, organized a Cervical Cancer Awareness Program at Jammu College of Physiotherapy. The event featured an informative lecture delivered by Dr. Devedika Padha and Ms. Manisha Yadav, esteemed faculty members from CRC. The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among women about cervical cancer and emphasize the importance of its early detection. The program witnessed the participation of faculty members and students from various professional streams. Dr. Navinderpal, Principal of the college, extended heartfelt gratitude to CRC, Jammu, for conducting the awareness program. He also expressed appreciation for Dr. Rohnika Sharma, Director of CRC, Jammu, for her pivotal role in organizing the initiative.
