Nagrota, Jan 17: Government Degree College (GDC), Nagrota, inaugurated a seven-day NSS winter camp under the supervision of Principal Prof. Anjali Mahajan. The camp, part of the college’s annual NSS program, began with the registration of volunteers eager to participate in the initiative. During the inaugural session, Prof. Mahajan encouraged students to actively engage in the camp’s activities, emphasizing the importance of NSS programs in fostering social responsibility and personal growth. NSS Programme Officer Prof. Dinesh Singh Chib outlined the week-long schedule, highlighting the significance of extracurricular activities and community service in shaping students’ personalities. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from a considerable number of students.
