JAMMU, Jan 21: The Department of Commerce and NSS Unit of Government College for Women (GCW), Bhagwati Nagar, organized an enlightening lecture on "Financial Education for Young Citizens." The session was held under the patronage of the college's Principal, Dr. Meeru Abrol, and was delivered by Mr. Bhagwant Singh, a retired principal and SEBI-certified Smart Trainer under NISM Mumbai's CSR initiative.
Singh emphasized the importance of financial literacy for students and young professionals, covering critical topics like budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding financial markets. He provided practical tips to empower attendees to make informed financial decisions and achieve independence.
