Early Times Report DARHAL, Jan 23: Government Degree College (GDC) Darhal marked Road Safety Month with a series of impactful activities aimed at promoting safe driving practices and raising awareness within the community. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. Zamir Mirza, the initiative was spearheaded by Dr. M. Saleem Wani, IQAC Coordinator, and Dr. Mohd Akhlaq, Head of NSS. A significant number of faculty members and students actively participated, showcasing their dedication to fostering a culture of road safety. The program featured informative sessions, engaging workshops, and interactive discussions, focusing on essential aspects of road safety. Faculty members, including Dr. Ghulam Abbas, Dr. Taseem, Dr. Anzaar Ahmed, Dr. Sagir, Dr. Atta ur Rehman, Dr. Muzammil, Sumina Begum, Dr. Mukhtar, Rahul, Dr. Shakeel Kataria, Dr. Iqbal, and others, contributed their expertise to make the campaign a success. Students and faculty expressed their commitment to spreading the message of road safety, emphasizing the need for responsible driving habits both on and off campus.
