| GDC Paloura celebrates Parakram Diwas | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 23: Govt. Degree College, Paloura organised a symposium to celebrate Parakram Diwas to honour the legacy of Netaji Subash Chandar Bose on the topic, "Subash Chandra Bose and his contribution in India's Freedom Struggle". The programme was conducted under the able guidance of the Principal of the college Dr. Kulvinder Kour. The programme aimed to commerate the Birth anniversary of India's great freedom fighter Subash Chandra Bose and spread awareness about his life and achievements. Students of the college enthusiastically participated in the event. While addressing the students, the Principal of the college highlighted the important role played by Subash Chandra Bose in India's Freedom movement and asked the students to follow his footsteps. She said that his revolutionary ideas inspired not just the youth of his times but continue to inspire the present generations. On the occasion various faculty members of the college also interacted with the students. The entire programme was organised jointly by Department of English and History of the college. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks. |
