Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 23: In an enlightening session at SMVD University, Expert Lecture on "NCC Camps : Types & conduct" was held for the newly inducted Cadets of NCC at SMVD University. The event, organized by Dr. Varun Dutta, NCC Coordinator, SMVDU, featured Lieut. (Dr.) Pankaj Mehta (ANO, 4 J&K Bn NCC) as the keynote speaker. Dr. Mehta, who also serves as an Assistant Professor at Central University of Jammu and as an NCC officer, brought forth valuable insights and experiences to the discussion. The gathering was further enriched by the presence of senior NCC cadets of 4th JK BN, NCC, Cdt. Masum Raja, who showcased various activities undertaken during NCC camps. Through practical demonstrations, they exemplified the essence of discipline, teamwork, and leadership instilled by NCC training. Dr. Mehta, drawing from his dual roles as an educator and an NCC officer, elaborated on the significance of NCC in nurturing responsible and patriotic citizens. He highlighted how the values imbibed through NCC activities contribute to the holistic development of individuals and, consequently, to the progress of the nation. NCC Cadets attending the discussion expressed their appreciation for the comprehensive understanding gained about the multifaceted contributions of NCC towards nation-building.
