| Absconder evading arrest for last 2 year arrested: Reasi Police | | |  Early Times Report
Doda, Jan 23: In a significant breakthrough, District Police Reasi successfully apprehended Mohd Yaseen, son of Mohd Ismail, resident of Bhalessa, District Doda, who had been evading arrest for the last two years.
The accused was wanted in case FIR No. 41/2022 under sections 363/376/109 IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act registered at Police Station Arnas. The case pertains to a heinous crime committed in 2022, following which the accused went into hiding and continuously changed his locations to evade law enforcement.
To facilitate his arrest, the Hon’ble Court of Principal Sessions Judge Reasi had issued a warrant under Section 512 Cr.PC. Despite intensive efforts over the years, Mohd Yaseen managed to avoid apprehension until now.
Acting on specific information, a dedicated team of Police Station Arnas, led by SHO Arnas meticulously planned and conducted a series of coordinated raids. Demonstrating perseverance and strategic precision, the team tracked down and arrested the absconder.
