Jammu, Jan 24: The Department of Dean Students Welfare (DSW), Cluster University of Jammu, in collaboration with the NCC Unit of MAM College, organized a solemn ceremony to honor the bravery and sacrifices of Martyr Lt. Sushil Singh Khajuria. The event began with floral tributes to the martyr, followed by a prayer in silence to honor his memory and offer respect for his eternal peace.
The ceremony aimed to commemorate the courage and sacrifices of national heroes who laid down their lives for India’s sovereignty and freedom. Students and staff members participated with great enthusiasm, reflecting their patriotism and respect for the nation’s defenders.
Under the guidance of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu, the event was organized by CTO Mohd Ashraf. A moving speech by one of the NCC cadets highlighted Lt. Khajuria’s bravery, selflessness, and dedication to duty, inspiring the audience to uphold the ideals of courage and patriotism.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from CTO Mohd Ashraf, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and encouraged them to honor the sacrifices made by war heroes. A pledge was taken by everyone present to follow the path of bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism exemplified by Lt. Khajuria and other soldiers.
