Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 30: Sainik School Nagrota has once again brought laurels by winning the prestigious Best Band Trophy (Boys) at the 76th Republic Day Parade held at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu. Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, presented the coveted trophy to Lt Col Amit Selot, Officiating Principal, and Cadet Uday Kumar, Band Contingent Captain, after the grand Beating Retreat Ceremony on 29th January 2025. The school band, meticulously trained under the expert guidance of Ex-Hav Showkat Ahmed Khan, displaying an outstanding performance, captivating the audience with their synchronized movements and melodious tunes. Their disciplined and spirited display earned them the top honors at the prestigious event. Congratulating the band contingent on their remarkable achievement, Capt (Indian Navy) Shibu Devasia, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, expressed immense pride and stated, "This is a moment of great honor for all Nagrotians.
