Jammu, Jan 30: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday appointed senior IPS officer Bhim Sen Tuti as Inspector General of Police Jammu zone, while ADGP Jammu zone Anand Jain was transferred and posted as ADGP Armed Jammu and Kashmir. An order reads: " Vijay Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1997), Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), has been relieved from his duties in Jammu and Kashmir as of January 30, 2025. He will now take up his new assignment in the Delhi segment of the AGMUT Cadre. S.J.M Gillani, IPS, currently the Director General of Police (DGP) and Managing Director of the Police Housing Corporation, will also take on the additional responsibility of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF, Jammu and Kashmir, until further orders." "Anand Jain, IPS, who was serving as ADGP Jammu Zone, has been transferred and posted as ADGP Armed, Jammu and Kashmir. Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS, currently IGP (POS), PHQ, and holding additional charges of IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), and IGP (Telecom), has been transferred and posted as IGP Jammu Zone. M. Suleman Choudhary, IPS, the IGP Traffic of Jammu and Kashmir, will assume additional charges as IGP (POS) PHQ, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), and IGP (Telecom), in addition to his existing duties," the order states. |
