KISHTWAR, Jan 30: The Cybercrime Investigation Unit of J&K Police, under SSP Kishtwar Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS and led by PSI Moin Khan, has recovered Rs 12,24,966 in various online fraud cases. The unit successfully tackled scams involving mobile recharge frauds, fake app installations, and deceptive Telegram links targeting Aadhaar updates.
Since its inception, the unit has recovered Rs 72,51,095, demonstrating its commitment to combating cyber threats. J&K Police urges citizens to stay cautious online, avoid suspicious links, and protect personal data.
