Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Jan 30: In line with the directions of Deputy Commissioner (Chairman DHS) Rajouri, CMO Rajouri, and BMO Sunderbani, a one-day orientation training program on the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) was successfully conducted at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Sunderbani. The program aimed to sensitize nodal personnel from the ICDS and Education departments on the screening of 4Ds (Birth Defects, Deficiencies, Childhood Diseases, and Developmental Delays and Disabilities) and the effective implementation of the RBSK scheme. The session covered key components of the RBSK scheme, including: Screening of 4Ds: Identifying birth defects, deficiencies, childhood diseases, and developmental delays and disabilities. Referral and Management: Proper procedures for referring and managing detected cases. Interdepartmental Roles: Understanding the responsibilities of ICDS and Education departments in the successful rollout of RBSK. Medical officers Dr. Arjun, Dr. Aditya, Dr. Alka, and Dr. Palika led the training, utilizing PowerPoint presentations, visuals, and video clips to explain the program. A comprehensive question-and-answer session followed, addressing the participants' queries. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance child health outcomes in the Sunderbani block. The presence of ZEO Lower Hathal and ZEO Sunderbani added to the event's significance, reinforcing the commitment to improving healthcare access for children in the region. |
