RAMBAN, Jan 30: General Elections of Working Journalists Association (WJAR), Ramban was held here at Dak Bungalow Ramban on Thursday.
Mohammad Taskeen Wani was elected as president of Journalists Association Ramban. The meeting in this connection was held held at Dak Bungalow Ramban.
All journalists working in the district participated in the meeting.
Elections for Working Journalists Association Ramban held here at Dak Bungalow, Ramban on Thursday , in which senior journalist Mohammad Taskeen Wani has been elected as president.
The election was held under the presidentship of senior journalist Ravinder Kishen Kitchlo, Mohammad Pervaz Mir and Nawaz Ahmad Rounyal.
Journalists from Banihal , Khari , Ramsoo , Pogal Paristan, Ramban, Gool , Chanderkoot and Batote participated in the election and Mohammad Taskeen secured 27 votes out of 29 votes.
It is pertained to mention here Mohammad Taskeen Wani was presiding working journalist association Ramban from 2014 to 2024 and later he resigned from the post last year. |
