Jammu, Feb 4: In a breakthrough, a police team from Police Station Bishnah successfully apprehended a long-time absconder wanted in an Arms Act case. The accused had been evading arrest for years, but persistent efforts by the police led to his capture, ensuring that justice is served. The accused, Vikram Kumar, son of Ram Lal, resident of Chak Chua Kothi Morh, Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu, was wanted in FIR No. 197/2017, registered under Sections 341/323 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act at PS Bishnah. Due to his prolonged evasion, the Honourable Court of JMIC Bishnah had issued a warrant under Section 299 CrPC against him. Acting on intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance, a dedicated police team from PS Bishnah launched a strategic operation to track and apprehend the absconder. After careful planning and execution, the police successfully arrested him, bringing an end to his long period of evasion. Following his arrest, the accused will be produced before the Honourable Court of JMIC Bishnah, where further legal proceedings will take place as per due process.
