Rajouri, Feb 24: The Society for Environment and Sustainability Development (SESD) celebrated its 6th Foundation Day with grandeur, honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to environmental conservation and sustainability. The prestigious National Environmental Sustainability Excellence Award was conferred upon Mr. Shaheen Ayaiz Rather, recognizing his relentless efforts toward environmental protection and promoting sustainable practices.
Mr. Shaheen Rather hails from village Behrote, tehsil Thanamandi in District Rajouri and is currently working as a lecturer in Zoology at HSS Budhan, Reasi.
The ceremony took place at the Delhi University Guest House, drawing a distinguished gathering of scientists, environmentalists, academicians, university professors, and educators from across the nation.
The event highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges and stressed the need for innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
