Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 27: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta today conducted a surprise visit to Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sarwal, to assess the school's infrastructure, academic environment, and innovative practices being implemented. During the visit, Principal Anshul welcomed the MLA and apprised him about the school's ongoing initiatives, including the plantation drives and the creative use of waste materials for model-making in open areas, fostering an eco-friendly learning environment. The visit was also attended by Thakur, school teachers and staff, along with Veenu Khanna (State Secretary), Kushant Prajapati (Mandal President), Atul Bakshi (Senior Leader), and Kiran Sharma. Expressing satisfaction over the well-maintained premises and proactive approach of the school management, MLA Arvind Gupta lauded the efforts of the administration and staff, stating that this institution stands out as one of the best-performing government schools he has visited so far. Arvind Gupta also asked the teachers to focus on enhancing the quality of education by adopting innovative teaching methods and ensuring a disciplined yet interactive learning environment. Emphasizing the role of teachers in shaping the future of students, he urged them to instill moral values alongside academic excellence. The senior BJP leader further emphasized that other government schools should take inspiration from Sarwal School's model of cleanliness, discipline, and sustainability-driven learning.
