RS PURA, Feb 27: Government Degree College R.S. Pura conducted a series of events to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, engaging students in a poster-making competition, a human chain formation, and a walkathon.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, Principal, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in educating society about HIV/AIDS. She appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and students for making the event successful.
The programme was organized by the Red Ribbon Club under the aegis of IQAC, with Prof. Priya Darshni (Convener), Prof. Geetika Goswami, Prof. Jai Mala Thakur, Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, and Dr. Rajinder Singh leading the efforts. Faculty members Dr. Sudesh Kumar and Dr. Raj Kumari were also present.
