JKHCBAJ honours Mahant Rohit Shastri for promoting Sanskrit and Indian Culture | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 10: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ) organized a special ceremony to honour Mahant Rohit Shastri (State Awardee), President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Raipur Thather, Bantalab, Jammu & Kashmir, in the presence of JKHCBAJ President Advocate Nirmal Kotwal, Vice President Advocate Baldev Singh, General Secretary Advocate Pradeep Majotra, Joint Secretary Advocate Anshu Mahajan, and Treasurer Advocate Rahul Aggarwal. The primary objective of this felicitation ceremony was to recognize Mahant Rohit Shastri's exemplary contribution towards the preservation and promotion of Devvani Sanskrit Language and Indian Culture. Mahant Rohit Shastri has made continuous efforts to promote the Sanskrit language and uphold Indian traditions, inspiring the younger generation to connect with their cultural roots. On this occasion, Advocate Nirmal Kotwal stated that Mahant Rohit Shastri's work towards promoting Sanskrit is commendable. He emphasized that Sanskrit is not merely a language but the soul of Indian culture and civilization, which needs to be preserved and enriched. Vice President Advocate Baldev Singh praised Mahant Rohit Shastri's efforts to popularize the Sanskrit language, calling them remarkable. General Secretary Advocate Pradeep Majotra stated that the promotion of Sanskrit will give the new generation an opportunity to connect with their cultural heritage. Joint Secretary Advocate Anshu Mahajan also appreciated Mahant Rohit Shastri's work and said that his contribution has increased interest and respect for Sanskrit in the region. During the ceremony, Mahant Rohit Shastri expressed his gratitude to all the office bearers and stated that he remains committed to the upliftment of Sanskrit and Indian culture in the future. He remarked that promoting Sanskrit strengthens the values and traditions of Indian culture. Finally, Advocate Nirmal Kotwal thanked all the members and guests present at the ceremony and stated that the Association will continue to support such initiatives for the promotion of Sanskrit and Indian culture in the future.
