Ridima Bajpai creates history at 38th National Youth Festival | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 11: Ridima Bajpai, a student of Cluster University of Jammu, made history by securing 1st place in the Indian Classical Vocal Solo event at the 38th National Youth Festival organized by AIU and hosted by Amity University, Noida, from March 3 to March 7, 2025. Competing against participants from 147 universities across India, Ridima represented Cluster University of Jammu with an exceptional performance. She is a student of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, and a disciple of Sh. V.K. Sambyal (Rangeeley Thakur). She was accompanied by Rahul Bhardwaj on Tabla and Sh. Vishal Pandita on Harmonium. The contingent was led by Ms. Asha Rani and Mr. Vishal Pandita as teacher in-charges. Vice-Chancellor Sr. Prof. K.S. Chandrasekar congratulated Ridima on her historic win and commended the efforts of the Department of Students Welfare, led by Dr. Raj Shree Dhar, for nurturing young talent. Ridima is the first student from Jammu and Kashmir to win 1st place in the Classical Vocal Solo category at the National Youth Festival. |
