| Registration of three vehicles suspended for bovine smuggling in Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 29: Udhampur Police besides registration of FIRs in concerned Police Stations wherein drivers were arrested and vehicles involved in bovine smuggling were seized a detailed report regarding involvement of drivers/vehicles in bovine smuggling was also prepared and sent to concerned ARTOs in which report in respect of (03) vehicles were sent to ARTO Udhampur for the suspension of their Registration certificates for their involvement in bovine smuggling and crime related to cruelty to animals.
Consequently, on the initiative taken by Udhampur Police ARTO Udhampur has suspended registration certificate of 03 vehicles bearing registration No.
JK14J9971 - Owner: Manzoor Ahmed S/O Bashir Ahmed, R/O Sunadi, Udhampur
JK14H1272 - Owner: Nazira Begum D/O Mohd. Rashid, R/O Dalpar, Udhampur
JK14H6958 - Owner: Mohd. Sharif S/O Abdul Karim, R/O Samroli, Chenani
Udhampur Police have urged all the vehicle owners/drivers to desist from such illegal activities, else strict action under law will be taken which also includes attachment of moveable /immoveable properties of persons if found involved in bovine smuggling. |
