Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 5: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has said that the upcoming visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Jammu and Kashmir from April 6 will immensely boost the morale of party workers and reaffirm the party's unwavering commitment to the development and integration of the Union Territory with the national mainstream.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Kavinder has welcomed the three-day visit of the Union Home Minister and said that Amit Shah's consistent engagement with the people of Jammu and Kashmir reflects the Modi Government's sincere approach towards ensuring lasting peace, prosperity, and progress in the region.
"Amit Shah ji is not only the architect of a new dawn in J&K post-abrogation of Article 370, but also a source of inspiration for lakhs of BJP workers across the Union Territory. His presence and guidance will rejuvenate the cadre at the grassroots level and strengthen our resolve to work for a new and empowered Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
The senior BJP leader said that the Home Minister's visit comes at a crucial juncture when the region is witnessing a surge in infrastructure development, employment generation initiatives, and growing faith in democratic processes.
Kavinder expressed confidence that Amit Shah's interactions during the visit will send a clear message of accountability, development-centric governance, and a strong stance against terrorism and separatism. "The people of Jammu and Kashmir have full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. This visit will reaffirm that their aspirations are at the core of BJP's governance model," he added.
The former Deputy CM urged party workers to wholeheartedly welcome the Union Home Minister and utilize this opportunity to convey the aspirations and concerns of the people from every corner of Jammu and Kashmir.
