Jodhamal's Harmanjot receives National Youth Award | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 6: Harmanjot Singh, an outstanding student of Jodhamal Public School has been conferred the prestigious National Youth Award by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in the glittering award ceremony held at Parliament House, New Delhi during the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025. The esteemed award was bestowed by Cabinet Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya along with the Minister of State Raksha Khadse. Harmanjot is the only awardee from Jammu and Kashmir amongst the total 24 awardees selected across India. The award comprises a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 to individuals. The award is given to honor the outstanding contributions of young individuals who are making a difference in their communities and beyond. The award acknowledges the hard work, dedication and passion of these young leaders who are shaping India's future in various fields such as social service, innovation, education and sports. Harmanjot Singh is awarded the National Youth Award in recognition of his outstanding work in the field of innovation and social services to the community. He has demonstrated remarkable determination and consistent efforts in using technology for social causes, national development and community service. It is pertinent to mention that this is his second national civilian honor. He is also a recipient of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021 (National Child Award). Harmanjot got the golden opportunity to visit the Parliament of India. Jodhamal School is proud of his stupendous achievement and wishes him greater glories in times to come.
