Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 6: In a major success against drug trafficking, Jammu Police arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized a substantial quantity of narcotics in the Domana area. During routine patrolling in the Machine Domana area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana, police personnel intercepted a suspicious individual moving towards Raipur Domana. On seeing the patrol party, the suspect tried to flee but was quickly apprehended by the alert officers. The accused has been identified as Raghu Ram, son of Ganesh Ram Patel, resident of Paara Mahatra Kera Jhangir, Champa, Chhattisgarh, presently residing in Samba. Upon his search, the police recovered 902 grams of Ganja from his conscious possession. A case has been registered under FIR No. 89/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act at Police Station Domana. Further investigation is underway to ascertain possible connections to a larger drug network. The Jammu Police reiterated their commitment to fighting the drug menace and urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement authorities. |
