WAKNAGHAT, Apr 8: The Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, successfully concluded a two-week workshop on "Advanced Molecular Biology and Plant Tissue Culture Techniques", held from March 24 to April 5, 2025.
The workshop was specifically organized for final-year B.Tech. Biotechnology students from the College of Horticulture and Forestry, NERI, Hamirpur (HP). The training provided participants with hands-on experience in cutting-edge molecular biology and plant biotechnology techniques, aiming to enhance their technical competencies and practical knowledge.
Under the guidance and coordination of Prof. and HOD Dr. Jata Shankar and Prof. Dr. Hemant Sood, the program featured various sessions covering both theoretical foundations and practical lab applications.
Both coordinators extended heartfelt thanks to the faculty, staff, and administrative teams of NERI Hamirpur and JUIT Waknaghat for their unwavering support in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the workshop.
