JAMMU, Apr 8: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has proposed new rules for contractor registration under the Jammu & Kashmir Registration of Contractors Act, 1956, titled the Union Territory of Ladakh Registration of Contractors Rules, 2025.
Aimed at streamlining the process with a uniform checklist across categories, the draft also includes a fee relaxation provision for women contractors to promote their participation and empowerment.
The draft rules have been uploaded on the official website ladakh.nic.in, and stakeholders have been invited to submit their comments, suggestions, or objections within 30 days from the date of publication before the rules are finalized. |
