Early Times Report SAMBA, Apr 9: In a continued crackdown on illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five vehicles, including three dumpers, across different parts of the district. These vehicles were found involved in the illegal transportation and excavation of construction material. The action was taken by police teams led by SHO Police Station Ghagwal, SHO Police Station Ramgarh, and Incharge Police Post Supwal, during routine patrolling in their respective jurisdictions. The seized vehicles include three dumpers bearing registration numbers JK21J-5799, JK21F-9922, one unregistered dumper, and two unregistered tractor trolleys. All the vehicles have been handed over to the Geology and Mining Department, Samba, for further legal proceedings. The Samba Police has reiterated its commitment to act tough against illegal mining and urged the public to report any such activities in their areas. |
