| GDC Ganderbal organizes Seminar | | |

SRINAGAR, Apr 10: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Ganderbal, on Thursday organized a one-day seminar on the theme "Role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in Nation Building and Constitutional Development" to commemorate the birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Fouzia Fatima, Principal of the college, who also graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her presidential address, Prof. Fatima highlighted the immense contributions of Dr. Ambedkar towards the upliftment of the downtrodden sections of society.
The seminar commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Dr. Jamsheeda Akhter, Head of the Department of Urdu and NSS Programme Officer-I, who served as the moderator of the event. In her address, she paid rich tributes to Dr. Ambedkar and highlighted his invaluable contributions as a social reformer, jurist, and principal architect of the Indian Constitution. She emphasized how Dr. Ambedkar's vision laid the foundation for an inclusive, democratic, and just society.
