MAHANPUR, Apr 11: Government Degree College, Mahanpur organized an awareness programme on the PMIS Scheme 2025 for college students and faculty members on 11th April 2025, under the guidance of the College Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan.
The session was conducted by the College Librarian, Ms. Nisha Kumari who delivered a detailed presentation on the PMIS Scheme launched by the Higher Education Department, J&K. The program covered important aspects such as eligibility criteria, registration process, key features, and benefits of the scheme. A live demonstration of the official PMIS website was also given to students to help them navigate the platform confidently. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff members. The College Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, in her address, encouraged students not only to benefit from the scheme themselves but also to share the information widely with other needful students, so that maximum beneficiaries can register and take advantage of the opportunities provided under the scheme.
