Early Times Report KATRA, Apr 11: Pradnya Pradeep Jogdand, a final-year B.Arch. student from the School of Architecture & Landscape Design (SoALD) at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), has earned admission offers from five prestigious universities in the United States for postgraduate studies in architecture. The universities include: University of Texas, Austin - M.Arch. (Advanced Architectural Design) University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) - MS in Architecture and Urban Design University of Michigan, Ann Arbor - Master of Urban Design (MUD) Columbia University, New York - MS in Urban Planning University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles - M.Arch. (First-Professional Degree Program) Pradnya has chosen UT Austin for its culture of original research, creative inquiry, and interdisciplinary innovation. "This environment will empower me to address both contemporary and future challenges in architecture and urban design," she shared. She extended heartfelt gratitude to her mentor Ar. Vinod Kumar, Assistant Professor at SoALD, whose guidance played a pivotal role in shaping her academic journey. During her B.Arch. studies, Pradnya completed a dissertation titled Morphogenic Membranes in Parametric Architecture and co-authored a published research paper titled Revisiting Sacred Geometry: The Dialogue between Parametric and Religious Architecture, presented at an international conference hosted by NIT Patna. Her remarkable academic achievements, innovative research, and passion for architecture earned her well-deserved recognition. The Vice-Chancellor of SMVDU, Prof. Pragati Kumar, Head of SoALD, Ar.
