JAMMU, Apr 11: One days Civil Defence awareness programme was organized at MIER College of Education B.C Road, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP. Zia-ul- Haq, Deputy Controller, Civil Defence, Jammu. The awareness programme was attended by 100 NSS Students of 4th semester of the College. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, Fire fighting, CPR and other life saving techniques were given to the students by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to educate students with regard to preventive measures during natural or man-made disasters.
Director and Principal Sh. Adit Gupta appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing the awareness programme. Dr. Komal Sharma programme officer of the College, Sh Paramjeet Kumar Chief warden Civil Defence Jammu Sh. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, and. other staff of the School also present on the occasion. |
