The national-level contest, part of the National Young Author's Fair 2024-25, witnessed participation from thousands of schools and lakhs of students across the country. The book has been lauded by judges and readers alike for its originality, depth, and engaging narrative.
Reflecting on her inspiration, Vasudha shared, "The idea for Sakhi's Divine Mission came from my fascination with local culture and nature's wisdom. The story first appeared to me in a dream and stayed with me. I'm grateful to BriBooks and my school for providing a platform to bring my vision to life."
Dr. Kunal Anand, Principal of DPS Udhampur, expressed immense pride in Vasudha's accomplishment. "This recognition reaffirms our commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering creative expression. Vasudha has made us all proud," he said.
